B&D Special #1

This Bacon and Day Special #1 tenor banjo is in very good original condition with only light fret wear. Nicely shaded finish. Some belt buckle scratches on the resonator. Simple laminated neck with ebony fret board and nicely executed position markers. B and D Special #1 pearl inlay in headstock and Bacon and Day Special #1, Groton, Ct engraved on small plate attached to the resonator. Upgraded with Waverly tailpiece. Neck is perfectly straight with low action. Original tailpiece is included. Fully functional 2 tab Grover tuners. Likely original soft case in fair but serviceable condition. Ready to play, well-made, nice sounding tenor banjo.
