The A4 was the top of the line for the Gibson A style mandolins. It has the overall red finish with the slight sunburst, a pearl logo and peghead inlay, bound top and back, and a bound ebony fingerboard with treble extension. Original Gibson tailpiece and pick guard. The neck is straight, and the frets are in good shape. This instrument has exceptional tone and great bass! It is in excellent condition and comes with a very nice hard shell case.
