A working banjo much of its life, it could use some tender loving care.

The engraving on the metal parts is exquisite but the gold is old and original

and some polishing or re-plating would sure make it prettier.

The same is true of the celluloid engravings on the fingerboard and resonator.

The tuners are original I am sure, they are engraved and gold plated with mother of pearl buttons.

The tailpiece is original and engraved. The arm rest is also original and engraved.

There is a small crack where the attaching bolt goes thru the celluloid.

A B&D mute has been added.

The case is in exceptionally good condition for its age.
